Welcome!

The Office of International Programs (OIP) assists international and American students in a variety of ways related to the international dimensions of their education. The OIP is comprised of International Student Services and Study Abroad and serves as the central office on campus for matters concerning internationalization.

Education Abroad

We invite you to let the world be your classroom!  While either studying or participating in a service-learning program abroad, you’ll discover more about your own values, gain independence and experience personal growth.  You’ll return home with a more global outlook that includes a greater appreciation for cultural diversity and a better understanding of your own culture. The OIP serves students, parents, staff, and faculty by advising all populations on best practices and application processes. It is our goal is to provide you with the most accurate information and resources.

Considerations for Students with Disabilities and/or Chronic Health Conditions

It is the policy of the College of St. Scholastica that all otherwise qualified individuals with disabilities will be given equal educational opportunities in the classroom and other College-sponsored programs and activities, including study abroad programs. The College will ensure that no otherwise qualified individuals with disabilities will be excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or subjected to discrimination in any college class, program, or activity (The College of St. Scholastica Student Handbook, 2013).  Any student who needs assistance in gaining equal access to CSS study abroad programs due to physical, psychological, or learning disability, as well as attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, a visual or hearing impairment and/or chronic medical condition should request assistance through the Center for Equal Access. Contact the office at access@css.edu to set up an appointment or for more information.
